The causes of the bus accident in Guatemala are being investigated

Last February, another bus accident left 54 people dead in Guatemala City after losing its brakes and similarly falling into a ravine. The Public Ministry (Prosecutor's Office) is already at the scene to certify the causes of the accident, which took place on Friday night. One of the victims' relatives told journalists at the scene that she found out about the accident through social media. "We don't know how the accident happened. When we tried to contact him, he didn't answer, and we started looking for information, and on social media there were videos that the truck had been wrecked," said María López Gramajo, sister of Bernán Esaú López, one of the deceased in the tragedy, who was traveling from Antigua Guatemala to the department of San Marcos.
