La Vega. — The executive director of the Dominican Institute for Prevention and Protection of Occupational Risks (Idoppril), Dr. Agustín Burgos, highlighted the institution's most recent advances in favor of the working class and cited the streamlining of medical and economic benefits as one of them.
He also highlighted the improvement in workplace accident investigations and the strengthening of preventive programs aimed at companies and workers.
Burgos also pointed out that Idoppril is promoting a modernization process to facilitate access to its services through more user-friendly digital platforms, training sessions at the national level, and direct support to the productive sectors.
Interviewed on the program "Frente al Pueblo" of Microvisión, Channel 10, hosted by communicators Ambiorix Guzmán (Papo) and George Luis Concepción, the official reaffirmed his commitment to a close and transparent management. In that order, he pointed out that IDOPPRIL seeks to strengthen the protection of workers and guarantee an increasingly efficient and timely service.
Finally, he reaffirmed the institution's commitment to maintaining open and transparent communication with the population. Also, to promote knowledge about the rights protected by the Occupational Risk Insurance (SRL) and to guide society on the importance of prevention and safety at work.
