La Romana. — A driver miraculously survived after the jeep he was traveling in fell from a bridge on the Autovía del Este, near the entrance to the Casa de Campo tourist complex, amid the heavy rains affecting the area. Despite the magnitude of the accident, the driver managed to get out alive, being seen walking after what happened, which has generated astonishment among witnesses of the event.
