Drone unit surpasses 400 flight hours in active search for Brianna; authorities assure they will not stop

Puerto Plata. - The Drone Unit of the Armed Forces of the Dominican Republic has accumulated more than 400 flight hours in the search operations for the girl Brianna Genao, as part of the actions carried out by the Task Force deployed in prioritized areas of this province. The information was offered this Tuesday by Captain Guzmán Domínguez, in charge of the aforementioned unit, who assured that, despite the wear and tear involved in the uninterrupted aerial tracking days, the work will not be stopped. He indicated that they have been operating from 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 at night. "We have over 400 hours flying all these areas and we are not going to give up. We reiterate that the effort will not falter," said the officer, highlighting the determination of the technical and operational team.

Guzmán Domínguez explained that the flights are carried out systematically and continuously, covering wooded areas, areas of difficult access and points previously georeferenced by the teams working on the ground, with the aim of expanding the search radius and detecting any indication that may contribute to the investigation. Furthermore, it was indicated that the Drone Unit operates in close coordination with rescue organizations, military forces, and investigative authorities, using high-resolution aerial images and specialized technical analysis to support the tactical decisions of the operation. The authorities reiterated their commitment to maintain and reinforce the actions until all possibilities are exhausted, while urging citizens to collaborate with any information that may contribute to the progress of the search.
