Empresaria respaldan llamado del Presidente para un acuerdo nacional ante crisis global

El Consejo Nacional de la Empresa Privada (CONEP) y la Asociación de Industrias de la República Dominicana (AIRD) expresaron su respaldo al llamado del presidente Luis Abinader para la construcción de un gran acuerdo nacional, ante la actual crisis global, orientado a enfrentar los efectos de la coyuntura económica internacional y preservar la estabilidad del país.

El CONEP reiteró su disposición de trabajar de manera coordinada con el Gobierno, destacando que la unidad nacional es clave en momentos de alta volatilidad. El gremio subrayó que la República Dominicana cuenta con fundamentos macroeconómicos sólidos para enfrentar este escenario, y que la articulación público-privada ha demostrado ser un activo estratégico en momentos complejos. En esa misma línea, César Dargam valoró como “oportuno y pertinente” el llamado presidencial, señalando que la coordinación entre sectores será determinante para preservar la estabilidad, sostener el crecimiento y mitigar impactos en la economía.

De igual forma, la AIRD calificó como necesaria la iniciativa de impulsar un proceso de consulta nacional que integre a los sectores productivos, políticos y sociales. Su vicepresidente ejecutivo, Mario Pujols, aseguró que el sector industrial participará activamente, aportando propuestas orientadas a fortalecer la competitividad y proteger la actividad productiva nacional frente a los efectos de la crisis internacional, especialmente en un entorno influenciado por tensiones geopolíticas en Medio Oriente.

Este respaldo conjunto evidencia una señal clara de madurez institucional y cohesión país. La experiencia reciente ha demostrado que, ante escenarios adversos, la coordinación entre el Gobierno, el sector privado y la sociedad civil no solo es posible, sino efectiva. En este momento, más que una opción, el consenso se convierte en una herramienta estratégica para garantizar estabilidad económica, proteger a las familias dominicanas y sostener el rumbo de crecimiento del país.
