Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET) forecast isolated showers for this Thursday in the country, associated with the northeast wind's drag over coastal areas of La Altagracia, El Seibo, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, and Espaillat. In the afternoon, the chances of rain will remain low; and, if they occur, they would be the product of a weak trough and the wind's drag, occurring occasionally and of short duration, especially towards points in the southeast, such as La Altagracia, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, and even Santo Domingo and San Cristóbal.
Similarly, for this Friday the front system will approach the Bahamas; however, the anticyclonic circulation will continue to dominate, so the front will lose characteristics before reaching the country. Even so, in the early hours of the morning and the morning, isolated rainfall will occur on the Atlantic coast, especially over La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat and Puerto Plata.
During the afternoon, these showers could extend towards Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Sánchez Ramírez and Monseñor Nouel, among other nearby provinces. In the evening, a sky with few clouds will return.
