Santiago. – The president of the Fuerza del Pueblo party (FP) Leonel Fernández, stated that cooperativism occupies a strategic place within the vision of economic and social development promoted by that political organization, highlighting the impact that cooperatives have on communities and their contribution to the inclusive growth of the country. “The People's Force does not need to be convinced of the role of cooperatives and the need to protect and promote cooperatives”, said Fernández, highlighting that the cooperative movement is an essential part of the productive and social structure that must be strengthened by the State.
