The Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2025, made its first cut of candidates to 20 finalists. Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic seeks to crown its representative for Miss Universe 2025, in the 69th edition of the national pageant, held at the Eduardo Brito National Theater, The road to the crown began with a significant reduction phase of candidates. From an initial group of 29 contestants, coming from various provinces and national and international communities, the contest advanced by selecting a Top 20, marking a first stage in the dispute for the title After this first filter, the participants will continue the competition rounds, including the swimsuit parade and the subsequent reduction to the Top 10 for the evening gown parade. One of these 20 contestants is getting closer to the Miss Republic crown, seeking to become the successor to Miss Republic Universe 2024, Celineé Santos Frías, who managed to make it to the Top 30 of the international pageant.
