Santo Domingo. - The hearing for the knowledge of coercive measures against Luis David Pichardo, alias "El Flaco", and Edwardo de la Cruz Heredia, alias "El Wa", implicated in the death of Sergeant Major Joan Félix Montero, was postponed this Thursday by the court of San Cristóbal.
The information was provided by Eva García, the lawyer representing the victim, who explained that the postponement occurred because the defendants do not have lawyers to represent them, which is why the hearing was rescheduled for January 13, in order to guarantee due process.
Family members of the deceased sergeant appeared at the Palace of Justice in San Cristóbal, awaiting the knowledge of the coercion measures request presented by the Public Ministry.
