The mother of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Joel Santos, passes away.

Santo Domingo.- Through his social media, the Minister of Energy and Mines, Joel Santos Echavarría, announced this Sunday the passing of his mother, Estela Josefina Echavarría Disla, at the age of 90.

The lady passed away at her residence, surrounded by the love and care of her loved ones, according to the Santos - Echavarría family.

She is survived by her children Joel Adrián and Carmen Ligia; Héctor José and Nerys; and Indhira and Mark expressed deep sorrow for the loss of Doña Estela. Also her grandchildren Paula, Joel Armando, Daniela, Matías and Felipe. According to the publication, the minister will share the details of the funeral honors in the coming hours.
