The Social Security Treasury (TSS) reminded employers and workers that, through Resolution 01-2025, the amount of the National Minimum Wage was set for the calculation of the contribution ceilings of the Contributory Regime, which amounts to RD$23,223.00, effective from February 1, 2026.

As a result of this update, the TSS established the new contribution ceilings applicable to the different insurance policies of the Contributory Regime, which will be defined as follows: Occupational Risk Insurance, RD$92,892.00; Family Health Insurance, RD$232,230.00, and Old Age, Disability and Survivor Insurance (pensions), RD$464,460.00

These values will serve as the basis for the calculation of the corresponding quotes, in accordance with the provisions of the current regulations of the Dominican Social Security System.

The TSS urges workers, employers, and other actors in the system to take these new caps into account, in order to ensure the timely and correct fulfillment of their obligations to social security.
