United Left Movement rejects US attack on Venezuela

Santo Domingo. - The United Left Movement, whose main leader is Miguel Mejía, issued a statement this Saturday in which it rejects and condemns in a “forceful and energetic” manner what it calls a military aggression by the government of the United States, headed by President Donald Trump, against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. In the pronouncement, the political organization denounced that said action would constitute a flagrant violation of International Law and the Charter of the United Nations, in particular articles 1 and 2, which establish respect for sovereignty, the legal equality of States and the prohibition of the use of force.
