Dajabón. – During an operation carried out with the support of drone units of the Dominican Republic Army (ERD), eight (8) Haitian nationals with irregular migratory status were detected and subsequently arrested in Palo Blanco, Dajabón province.
Undocumented migrants, including 03 men, 03 women, and 2 minors, were moving through a wooded area when they were detected by drone units and detained by ERD ground patrols.
The detained persons were transferred to the headquarters of the 10th Infantry Battalion of the ERD, for the corresponding procedures before the competent authorities.

The ERD reiterated its commitment to maintain vigilance and control in the area, ensuring compliance with laws and strengthening border security.
