Judge found lifeless with a gunshot wound to the head

San Francisco de Macorís.- A judge of the Labor Court of the Duarte Judicial District was found dead on the night of this Monday in the community of La Joya.

The magistrate was identified as Jeremías Paulino, who presents a supposed gunshot wound to the head. Preliminary data establishes the hypothesis that it was a suicide.

The news has caused consternation among jurists and community members who knew him. Until now, the causes that would have led the judge to make this tragic decision are unknown.

The body was taken by the medical examiner and transferred to the Regional Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif).
