Farmer shot dead, three of his children wounded in San Víctor, Moca

Santiago. – A farmer was shot dead and three of his children were injured during a violent incident in the community of Amaceyes, in the municipality of Tamboril, Santiago province. The victim was identified as Carlos Manuel Cruz Minaya, 60 years old, who died after receiving multiple shots.

The injured are their children: Adrián Tobías, Luis Miguel Cruz and Luis David Cruz, who were urgently transferred to different health centers, where they remain receiving medical attention. The alleged perpetrator of the crime, identified only as "Vicente", also a resident of Amaceyes, was arrested by police officers shortly after committing the act. The authorities arrived at the scene to initiate the corresponding investigations with the aim of clarifying the circumstances and motives that caused the attack. The tragic death of the farmer has generated deep consternation among family members, neighbors, and community members, who regret what happened with sorrow.
