Donald Trump: "Mexico does what we tell it to do"

Washington.- The President of the United States, Donald Trump, assured this Thursday that Mexico and Canada do what his Administration tells them to do when it comes to border security, a problem that he said he had solved himself. "Mexico does what we tell it to do, and Canada does what we tell it to do," Trump assured reporters in the Oval Office of the White House. The Republican praised his alleged plan to end crime and attacked, again, former President Joe Biden to boast about his border management.

"I remember Joe Biden used to always say: 'I need legislation.' I didn't have legislation, I just said: 'We're going to close the borders,' and everyone understood, because now they respect their country again," he pointed out.

According to him, when he returned to the White House last January, the situation on both borders "was horrible", however, now it is not: "There are people who say it's a miracle", he pointed out. These statements come after Mexico sent 26 drug trafficking leaders to the United States who were imprisoned in the Latin American country after being requested by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Furthermore, in the last few hours, a controversy has arisen in Mexico over the flight of a US drone over Mexican airspace. The president of the country, Claudia Sheinbaum, assured that the overflight was requested by her Government because Mexico does not have the specific material that was required. "The request is made within the framework of collaboration so that there is a flight from the United States of equipment that is not available in Mexico," pointed out the Mexican governor, who added that it was used for a special investigation "related to organized crime."
