For the third time, teaching continues to be suspended at UASD

Santo Domingo. – The teaching stoppage at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) continues for the third time, following the strike called by the Federation of Professors' Associations (Faprouasd).

The pickets are a response to a conflict with authorities of the educational institution, after President Editrudis Beltrán applied a 15% salary increase, despite the fact that the University Council had approved 30% for active professors, retirees, administrative employees and student collaborators.
