César Valdez dominates and Licey defeats the Giants 6-1 at the Quisqueya

SANTO DOMINGO.— Veteran right-hander César Valdez once again looked unhittable from the mound and pitched five solid innings, allowing one run, leading the Tigres del Licey to an important 6-1 victory over the Gigantes del Cibao this Wednesday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium, in the continuation of the Winter Baseball Tournament.
