Former SDE councilman Antonio Infante "El Poli" dies

Santo Domingo. - Former councilman and community leader of Santo Domingo Este, Antonio Infante, popularly known as “El Poli”, died on Tuesday night in a health center.

His death occurred after being admitted for more than a week due to various health problems he suffered. El Poli held the position of councilman in several periods, both for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).

He was well-known in the Las Américas highway strip for being one of the founders of the Agua Loca and Nuevo Amanecer sectors at km 15 1/2 of said road.
