Santiago.– Security cameras captured the moment when several robbers shot and killed a 19-year-old during an assault on a grocery store in the Villa Olímpica sector, south of Santiago, an event that has caused consternation in the community and is being actively investigated by the National Police.

The crime occurred on Tuesday night, while the young man was working at the Minimarket Los Mellos, located on Paseo de los Periodistas street, when he was intercepted by several armed individuals who used protective helmets, as seen in the images. According to preliminary information, the attackers, residents of the El Ejido sector of this city, tried to steal a chain from him, but only managed to take a guillo before shooting him repeatedly. The security images show the speed and violence with which the assault was carried out. The National Police reported that they identified and are actively pursuing Ebel Noel Reinoso Dolville, alias “Doble K”, indicated as the alleged perpetrator of the homicide. In the incident, a second person involved was injured and remains in police custody while receiving medical attention. The authorities indicated that they are deepening the investigations to arrest all those responsible and bring them before the Public Ministry. Residents of the Villa Olímpica sector demanded a greater police presence due to the increase in criminal acts in the area.
