Santiago. – A security camera video captured the moment the alleged criminals arrived at the house where they were hiding, hours after having shot and killed the young Jennifer Altagracia Rodríguez de González, 36, during a robbery in the entertainment center Plaza Gómez Díaz Bar & Club, located on Hispanoamericana Avenue, in Santiago.
The images match the police version, which indicates that two of those involved were shot during an exchange of gunfire with a lieutenant colonel of the National Police, who was off duty and tried to prevent the assault. Both suspects were apprehended shortly after in an operation carried out in the El Dorado sector, according to official reports.
Earlier, the Police had reported that they were investigating the circumstances in which the senior officer injured two of the three assailants, who minutes earlier had killed Rodriguez Gonzalez to steal her belongings. The woman was shot in the head and died while receiving medical attention. Juan Carlos Espinal, 50 years old, was also injured in the incident, with a gunshot wound to the right glute. According to preliminary reports, the victim was in the establishment accompanied by their partner (whose identity is being kept confidential) when the three individuals attempted to steal their belongings. The detainees were identified as Yordy Parra López and Luis Ramón Martínez, both 33 years old, who have a history of robberies recorded in August and October 2025. The third involved, known only as “Johan”, fled aboard a gray Honda CR-V jeep and is actively being sought. In the scene, the Scientific Police collected 22 9 mm caliber shell casings, a mutilated projectile, and clothing with bullet holes, among other evidence that was sent to the laboratories for analysis. The victim's body was sent to the INACIF for autopsy purposes. The National Police assured that it maintains a broad operation to capture the fugitive and reaffirmed its commitment to fully clarify the case and bring those responsible to justice.
