Omar Fernández highlights political maturity in internal elections of the Fuerza del Pueblo and projects victory for 2028

Santo Domingo. – Senator of the National District, Omar Fernández, valued as a sign of political maturity the internal election process of the Fuerza del Pueblo (FP), held this Sunday during the Manolo Tavárez Justo Congress, where the new members of the Central Directorate of the party were elected. During the day, Fernández visited different voting centers in the three constituencies of the National District, with the aim of observing the development of the process and providing support to the candidates.

"The process we are experiencing today reflects the political maturity of our organization. We have opened the doors to a new generation, and that combination of youth with experience is what will lead us to triumph in 2028," said the legislator. The secretary of the FP senators also considered that this democratic exercise strengthens the party structure in view of the next elections, assuring that the organization is in full preparation to assume the government in 2028. He recalled that in 2020 the Fuerza del Pueblo positioned itself as the third national political force, and in just four years it has consolidated as the main opposition force. Among the venues visited by Fernández were the School of Political Training (district 1), the venue in the Cristo Rey sector (district 2) and the República de Colombia school, located in Ensanche Luperón (district 3).
