They thank President Luis Abinader for the water solution in Los Ranchos de Babosico through INAPA

New York.- The Fundación Rancheros Unidos in New York, composed of Dominican entrepreneurs residing in The Big Apple, thanked President Luis Abinader for bringing the water service to the community of Los Ranchos de Babosico, Sabana Iglesia, Santiago, through the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA), during a gala dinner within the framework of its thirteenth anniversary, in which the executive director of this institution, Wellington Arnaud, was a special guest.

During his speech at the event, the official highlighted that once again President Abinader is keeping his word. “I remember that I was in Valverde province and the President called me at 3:00 in the afternoon to participate in a dinner he was having at the National Palace for the Rancheros Unidos Foundation in New York and in that context he committed us to resolve this issue and so it was done,” Arnaud specified.

The CEO of INAPA thanked the president of the Foundation, Augusto Taveras, for the invitation to the celebration, as well as the executive secretary, Nelson Eusebio, and the entire board of directors of the organization.

The United Ranchers Foundation in New York has built more than 500 houses in the Babosico community, educational centers, medical dispensaries, sports courts, an orphanage, among other works of social good.

“This foundation does extraordinary work. These are the actions that make one feel proud to be Dominican.” Arnaud added.

At the gala, held at Leonard's of Great Neck, more than 1,000 people participated.
