Supermarket packer wins 22 million in the Lottery

SANTIAGO.– Luck changed the life of Juan de Jesús Ramírez Peralta, a young supermarket packer who won 22 million pesos in the Loto draw of the Dominican International Electronic Lottery (LEIDSA).

Ramírez Peralta made the winning play with the numbers 6, 16, 27, 28, 30 and 36, at the point of sale Farmacia Asael, located in the sector La Otra Banda, in Santiago de los Caballeros. With this prize, he becomes the millionaire number 488 that LEIDSA adds to its history, and the number 95 in the province of Santiago. During an event led by engineer Wilgin Peña, the company's general manager, the new millionaire received his check visibly excited.
I plan to invest in real estate and support my mother in everything she needs,” commented Juan de Jesús upon receiving the prize. LEIDSA also awarded RD$100,000 to the owner and RD$65,000 to the operator of the point of sale where the play was made, as part of the incentive for having sold the winning ticket.
