According to the court, there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the interpreter holds copyright over several of his musical works, as well as evidence that his content had been used and promoted on digital platforms without his approval. As part of the precautionary measure, the court ordered the immediate cessation of any form of exploitation or distribution of the artist's songs, whether in physical or digital format, if they do not have their authorization. Likewise, the resolution establishes a fine of 1,000 pesos for each day of non-compliance, in addition to indicating that the decision must be executed immediately, even if appeals are filed against it. The judicial ruling is based on the provisions of Law 65-00 on Copyright, which allows courts to take preventive measures when possible violations of intellectual property rights are detected.
