Medellín.- The Colombian star Karol G has just announced an unforgettable experience with Airbnb, where a select group of fans will be able to share with her a night full of music, art and Latin flavor in her hometown, Medellín. Unlike the traditional stays offered by the platform, this collaboration proposes a private party on a tropical rooftop, personally designed by Karol G and inspired by her most recent album “Tropicoqueta”, released last June 20th.

A unique experience… and free

The experience is free, but access is limited. Only 24 people will be able to experience this celebration on the next July 29, and they must apply through the official Airbnb page from June 30 to July 5. Those who do not reside in Medellín must pay for their transportation and accommodation, but entry to the event will be completely free.

What does the experience include?

During this special night, attendees will be able to:

  • Share a toast with Karol G
  • Enjoy your favorite food
  • Create costume jewelry pieces with a tropical aesthetic
  • Participate in body paint sessions
  • Interact with instruments and sounds inspired by her album
  • Feel the energy of Medellín from the heights
The artist herself expressed her enthusiasm:

“I'm very excited to collaborate with Airbnb to make this experience a reality. Tropicoqueta was created to celebrate your most authentic self… I hope this experience allows people to truly feel that connection, surrounded by the things I love most, in the place I love most: my home, Colombia”.

An album for all rhythms

With Tropicoqueta, Karol G has once again revolutionized Latin music. The album mixes genres such as reggaeton, bachata, cumbia, ranchera, merengue, mambo, and even techno-merengue, solidifying her versatility and connection to Latin roots. Since its release, several songs from the album have gone viral on platforms like TikTok and Spotify.
