They release 'Nunca había amado así', the single with unreleased recordings by Juan Gabriel

Mexico City.- Virgin Music released 'Nunca había amado así', a new single by Juan Gabriel, which includes unreleased recordings of the singer and Mexican composer before his death, with accompaniment of newly recorded mariachi music.

The song was written by Alberto Aguilera Valadez, Juan Gabriel's given name, and produced by Guillermo Hernández Galicia, and is part of his new posthumous album 'Eterno' which will be released on September 5th, Virgin Music, owner of the rights to the Mexican diva's music, announced this Friday in a statement. The record label also indicated that the single will also include an official music video. "I had never loved like this' is the second single released from 'Eterno' after 'Me nace del corazón', which was published at the beginning of June.

About Juan Gabriel

Died of a heart attack in August 2016, at the age of 66, in Santa Monica (USA), Juan Gabriel was one of the most important Mexican singers, he composed for more than 200 artists and sold more than 30 million records. Songs like 'No tengo dinero', 'Esta rosa roja', 'Qué divino amor', 'En esta primavera' or 'Siempre en mi mente', marked from the early seventies an era of uninterrupted success.

'The Divo de Juárez', as he was known in Latin America, received more than a thousand gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records during his career, was chosen as Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy in 2009, and also won twelve Billboard Awards for Artist of the Year, Hot Latin Track, Album of the Year, and Duet of the Year, among other awards. The Orgullosamente Latino 'Trayectoria Latina' Award (2004), the Ondas and the MTV Music Award (both in 1999), are other examples of his long list of recognitions. In 2006, the King of Spain, then Juan Carlos I, awarded him the Golden Laurel and Universal Excellence. And he even has a day dedicated to him in Los Angeles (USA), October 5th.
