Berlin.- Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson advocated this Saturday for continuing to seek a negotiated solution to the war initiated by the U.S., but warned that the European Union (EU) is willing to respond with "harsh" countermeasures to the 30% tariffs announced by President Donald Trump starting August 1st on community products.
"The Swedish government regrets the US decision and supports the European Commission's (EC) willingness to continue seeking a negotiated solution," wrote the head of the Swedish government on the social network X.
