World Snake Day is celebrated on July 16th. Its primary objective is to raise awareness of the value of an animal species that has been so feared by people, but which, nevertheless, attracts the attention and curiosity of those who are passionate about discovering the mysteries and magic that this enigmatic and exotic creature encloses.
Snakes are animals from the reptile family that have very particular physical characteristics. They have a rather elongated body which is devoid of limbs and which, to move, they need to crawl with undulating lateral movements. Their body is covered in scales and they have vertebrae inside. They are carnivorous animals that feed mainly on hunting other animal species and for this they resort to the mechanism of constriction or injecting venom through the bite. There are a wide variety of snakes around the world, but the ones best known for their size, rarity, and beauty are the following.- The King Cobra
- The Reticulated Python
- The Green Anaconda
- The Boa Constrictor
- The Diamond Python
- The Silent Rattlesnake
