Santo Domingo. - Caribbean Films continues to bet on Dominican talent and content with the premiere of “Medias Hermanas”, a fun comedy that will arrive in cinemas on December 4th. This new production stands out for a humor of everyday family situations where the audience will have fun and connect in a natural way by feeling identified.
This film is a Peruvian remake with the adaptation of the Dominican essence deeply rooted in humor, with a lot of humanity and a vehicle to heal, laugh, and reconnect. It is directed by Yoel Morales, and stars Nashla Bogaert, Ramcelis de Jesús (La More), Frank Perozo, La Perversa, MikeToks, and Irvin Alberti.
"What attracted me most to Medias Hermanas was the possibility of exploring how these two very different women could build a genuine family bond when their starting point wasn't joy, but rather the wound.

Working with Nashla and Ramcelis was incredible, they carry the film, and their level of dedication, humor, and vulnerability made it one of the best experiences I've had on a set, it was a very exciting search process and I think the magic they achieved between them is something that transcends the screen. I am very grateful to the Caribbean Films family for this opportunity to work with such a professional human group and a luxury cast," said filmmaker Yoel Morales.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that the cast of this great film is completed by the special appearances of El Rubio del Acordeón, La Pitonisa, Víctor (popularly known as “Las ocurrencias de Víctor”), Enrique Quailey, Rafael Bobadilla, La Piri, Sandra Palmett, Claribel Adames (La Loba), Mario Arturo Hernández, George Olivo and Pedro Hernández.
