Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that for this Friday, the trough at several levels of the troposphere will continue to dominate the atmospheric conditions of the Dominican territory, generating a very humid and unstable environment, so that from early hours and during the course of the morning there will be cloudiness with scattered to moderate showers and thunderstorms, mainly in towns of: La Altagracia, Hato Mayor, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Monte Plata, El Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, Sánchez Ramírez, Monseñor Noel, Barahona and Independencia, among other nearby ones.
In the afternoon, rainfall will be more intense and frequent, accompanied by electrical storms and wind gusts, in the indicated provinces and will extend towards La Vega, Santiago, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, San Juan, Elías Piña and Azua, among other neighboring ones. The cloud and rain activity tends to gradually decrease at night.

The temperatures will be pleasant in the early morning hours, at night and dawn, especially in mountainous areas and valleys in the interior of the country.
National District: cloudy with showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts, being more frequent and intense in the afternoon and early evening.
Santo Domingo Norte: cloudy with showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts, being more intense in the afternoon and early evening.
Santo Domingo Este: cloudy with showers, isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts, increasing in frequency and intensity in the afternoon, decreasing at night.
Santo Domingo Oeste: cloudy with showers, isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts, being more frequent and intense in the afternoon, decreasing during the night.
Temperatures: the minimum will be between 21 °C and 23 °C, and the maximum between 31 °C and 33 °C.
