The death toll from a Legionnaires' disease outbreak in the Harlem community in New York City rose to six, while seven people remain hospitalized.
According to health authorities, there are 111 cases of this disease, an aggressive and potentially fatal form of pneumonia.
Since the outbreak began with twelve cooling towers, the authorities were able to identify which several buildings are related to the disease and one of them is Harlem Hospital, as indicated by channel 7 of the ABC network.
Health authorities are conducting studies and collecting information from the towers and also from patients, to determine the source of the outbreak, which affects some areas of Harlem.
