Santiago. – The National Police arrested Aneudy Rafael Céspedes Ovalles, alias “Aneo”, 28 years old, identified as one of the most active alleged vehicle fraudsters in the province, and against whom at least 15 arrest warrants were pending for fraud and breach of trust.
The police report details that "Aneo" had been wanted for several months for his alleged involvement in a network dedicated to the theft and illegal sale of automobiles. The detainee operated under the guise of a supposed vehicle agency located on Presidente Vásquez Avenue, in Tamboril, an establishment that had been closed and apparently abandoned since the investigations began.
Among the executed arrest warrants are the numbers AJ0065053, AJ0065717, AJ0064543-001, AJ00664444, AJ0066950, AJ0063799, AJ0065491, AJ0071213, AJ0065049, AJ0069767, AJ0069646, AJ0065049, AJ0080999 and AJ0070740-2025, all linked to reports of vehicle scams. The authorities also confirmed that there are other ongoing processes related to the same defendant.

During the capture operation, the agents recovered 13 vehicles that had been stolen through fraudulent maneuvers and that were already returned to their owners.
Céspedes Ovalles was handed over to the Public Ministry, where the corresponding legal measures will be applied, while the Police continues to deepen the investigations to determine if there are more victims affected by his illicit operations.
