Monte Plata.- Deputy Oscar Morel spoke this Monday morning, requesting the central Government to declare a state of emergency in the province of Monte Plata, especially in the areas most affected by the recent floods.
The legislator explained that several communities were left incommunicado due to the heavy rains recorded on the morning of last Sunday, which has worsened the situation of dozens of families in the province. Likewise, Morel requested the urgent intervention of the road that connects to the Yamasá landfill, as its deterioration could prevent access for the transfer of solid waste from the municipal district of Los Botados, Peralvillo and the municipality of Yamasá itself, which would cause chaos in the management of waste.
