The National Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives and Related Entities (FENCOOP), promotes financial education, cooperative identity, and the social impact of the solidarity economy in the official launch of its 2025 communication campaign. The initiative arises within the framework of the International Year of Cooperatives, declared by the United Nations for 2025, under the slogan “Cooperatives build a better world”, and seeks to promote a transformative narrative that places the human being at the center of the economy.

The president of FENCOOP, Diego Peralta, stated that the campaign is inspired by the fifth cooperative principle "Education, training and information", with the aim of simply explaining what a cooperative is, what its value proposition is and how it positively impacts communities.

Peralta highlighted that the solidarity economy model makes visible a different way of doing economics, one oriented towards inclusivity, justice, and centered on people, to strengthen the economic democracy of the country.
