San Pedro de Macorís. – The Estrellas Orientales announced that they will begin their preseason training on September 22 at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium, their official headquarters in San Pedro de Macorís, in preparation for the winter tournament of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).

The club's vice president of baseball operations, Ángel Ovalles, reported that, prior to the start of formal practices, the organization will hold a mini-camp starting September 15, aimed at specific players. A week later the complete roster will be integrated. Ovalles highlighted the enthusiasm of several of the main figures of the green team, who have already expressed their willingness to join from the first day of training. "We are pleased to receive messages from star players who have shown their commitment to the team and their desire to be on the field from day one," said the director. The 2025-2026 LIDOM winter baseball tournament will begin on October 15th, with the participation of the six traditional teams: Estrellas Orientales, Leones del Escogido, Tigres del Licey, Águilas Cibaeñas, Toros del Este and Gigantes del Cibao.
