Santo Domingo.– The Cruz Jiminián Foundation announced the celebration of the eighth day of hydrocephalus operations, aimed at benefiting people with limited resources, with the participation of a team of international doctors and thanks to the support of the El Buen Samaritano Hospital in La Romana. Dr. Félix Antonio Cruz Jiminián explained that these interventions will be carried out completely free of charge, as part of the social commitment that health institutions maintain with the most vulnerable communities in the country. During the announcement, Luis Cruz Camacho highlighted the importance of these medical conferences, recalling that in addition to cases of hydrocephalus, specialized procedures such as cleft palate operations and other complex conditions are also included, which require a high technical level and resources that many families cannot afford. In that sense, Cruz Camacho highlighted that these initiatives not only save lives, but also restore hope to hundreds of families who see their reality transformed after accessing surgical services that would otherwise be unattainable.
Over the years, Clinica Cruz Jiminián has developed an extensive calendar of medical events in various sectors of the Dominican Republic, contributing to the improvement of public health and bringing direct solutions to those who need them most.
With this new day of operations, the institution reaffirms its commitment to solidarity, equity in access to health, and social well-being, setting a precedent for humanitarian service that transcends borders.
