DJ Adoni proposes to his wife Lisabely Lugo

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican artist DJ Adoni surprised his millions of followers on the afternoon of this Monday, by publicly announcing his engagement to Lisabely Lugo, his partner for more than ten years and mother of his son. The proposal was shared through his social media, where the artist posted a video getting on a private jet where he knelt down and proposed, accompanied by an emotional message. In the publication, Julio Adonis Gross, the DJ's given name, expressed his gratitude to Lugo for having shared more than a decade of life together, highlighting the fundamental role she has played in his personal and professional development. Furthermore, he stated that the marriage proposal represents the fulfillment of a promise he had made some time ago. "I promised to make you the happiest woman in the world and I swear I will keep that promise," Adoni wrote. In the message, he also acknowledged the support he has received from his partner in complex moments and highlighted that their relationship has strengthened over the years thanks to their shared faith.

According to the artist, they both put their relationship in God's hands, which he considers key to the consolidation of their bond. This stage now culminates with a formal proposal that seals 13 years of relationship, in which they have formed a family and have grown together. The proposal was received as a significant gesture by those who follow the personal and professional trajectory of the DJ. So far, neither Adoni nor Lugo have confirmed details about a possible wedding date. However, this action responded to what the artist said in an interview offered to Santiago Matías on the reality show La Casa de Alofoke.
