Palmar de Herrera residents report damaged transformer and lack of response from Edesur

Santo Domingo Oeste. – Residents of the El Palmar de Herrera sector, on Respaldo La Rotonda street, reported this Wednesday morning that they have been without power for several days due to a damaged transformer, a situation that has affected both residents and merchants in the area. As they explained, despite having made multiple reports to the electricity distribution company Edesur, they have not received any effective response to date. It was also noted that the box where the electricity meters are located was dismantled, which prevents users from identifying their cables and further aggravates the problem. The community expressed its outrage at the lack of a solution, as the situation keeps them "worried" and with serious difficulties in carrying out their daily activities. Finally, they reiterated an urgent call to the Edesur authorities to come as soon as possible to solve this problem that directly affects the quality of life in the sector.
