The case is being processed in the 9th Special Criminal Court of Rio, in charge of analyzing the commission of minor crimes, and is based on the complaint of a neighbor of the place where the Brazilian national team winger celebrated his 25th birthday, between July 19 and the early hours of the 21st of that month. According to the complaint, cited by the newspaper O Globo, the party, which took place on a luxurious estate dedicated to organizing large events, such as weddings or corporate events, caused a lot of noise and broke the tranquility of the neighborhood. The complainant stated that he called the Military Police, who noted the loud music and shouting, and asked the attendees to turn down the volume. Vinícius and his guests complied with the officers' orders, but when they withdrew, "the sound returned to an extremely high volume," according to the complainant's account.

What penalty is Vinícius exposed to for his party in Brazil?

Sources from the Judiciary of the State of Rio de Janeiro indicated that a preliminary hearing on the case will be held on November 6.

Local media reported at the time that Vinícius threw a huge party to celebrate his 25th birthday, which included concerts, including one by rapper Travis Scott, fireworks, and even amusement park rides.
