Bad Bunny wins Album of the Year at the 2025 Billboard Awards with Debí Tirar Más Fotos

Miami.- The global phenomenon of urban music, Bad Bunny, made history again by winning the Top Latin Album of the Year award at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, thanks to his most recent record production, Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The Puerto Rican artist took the stage in one of the most anticipated appearances of the night, surprising the audience after keeping his participation secret until the moment the award was announced.

“Thank God, first of all. Thank you to all of you who are here. To all the people who listen to my music. I am very proud to be awarded for making music that I like, music from my land and enjoying the process with many beautiful people”, expressed the singer.

During his speech, Benito Antonio Martínez, the artist's given name, also dedicated the recognition to his work team and Los Pleneros de la Cresta, who collaborated in the production and accompanied him at the gala. With this triumph, the performer of "Baile Inolvidable" continues to consolidate his leadership in the music industry. This year, the artist leads the list of finalists for the Billboard Latin Music Awards with 27 nominations, setting a historical record in the awards. In addition, he will be distinguished with the special recognition of Artist of the 21st Century, awarded for his impact and contribution to the global development of Latin music.

The 2025 Billboard Awards ceremony presents a total of 49 categories, encompassing genres such as Latin pop, tropical, urban rhythm, and regional Mexican. Among the main nominees are the group Fuerza Regida, with 15 mentions; Rauw Alejandro, with 14; and, among the female artists, Karol G, with 10 nominations, tied with the new sensation of Mexican regional music Tito Double P. Peso Pluma also figures among the favorites with nine mentions. The evening, held in an atmosphere of luxury and excitement, reaffirmed the power of Latin music on the international scene and the leading role of Bad Bunny as one of its greatest exponents.
