The Puerto Rican artist took the stage in one of the most anticipated appearances of the night, surprising the audience after keeping his participation secret until the moment the award was announced.

During his speech, Benito Antonio Martínez, the artist's given name, also dedicated the recognition to his work team and Los Pleneros de la Cresta, who collaborated in the production and accompanied him at the gala.
With this triumph, the performer of "Baile Inolvidable" continues to consolidate his leadership in the music industry. This year, the artist leads the list of finalists for the Billboard Latin Music Awards with 27 nominations, setting a historical record in the awards.
