Bonao.– In an act that reaffirms the bonds of cooperation between Japan and the Dominican Republic, the Bonao City Council received this Friday three modern solid waste collection trucks, a donation made by the Japanese Government to improve efficiency in the municipality's cleaning work. The delivery was headed by the Japanese ambassador, Hayakawa Osamu, who highlighted that these teams are part of a non-refundable assistance program that his country promotes with the aim of strengthening municipal management and contributing to the sustainable development of allied communities. Mayor Dr. Eberto Núñez received the vehicles on behalf of the local government, valuing the contribution as a significant step to optimize the garbage collection service.

“This support from the Government of Japan not only enhances our operational capacity, but also strengthens the bilateral relations between our nations. It helps us move towards the clean and organized city that we all deserve,” he expressed.

With the incorporation of these three trucks, the municipal management seeks to reinforce the collection routes and offer a more efficient service, directly benefiting all residents of the head municipality of Monseñor Nouel.
