Danilo Medina assures that the PLD's candidates will make up that organization's ballot in 2028

Santo Domingo.- The former president of the Republic Danilo Medina, president of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), proclaimed this Thursday that it is the cadres of that political organization who will go on the purple ballot in the upcoming 2028 elections.

Medina made the proclamation after swearing in around 500 undersecretaries, during an event at the headquarters of that group.

He took advantage of the stage to reveal that the Dominican Liberation Party is already competing for first place in the preference of the Dominican electorate. He exhorted the new undersecretaries to value the position they hold and begin to work because today their career as national leaders begins. "You are going to reach the category of leaders with work, you can have all the titles you want but if you don't work you won't reach that category," explained the president of the PLD when closing the act of swearing in of the members of the Secretariats and Commissions of the Central Committee He indicated that those who work grow and the Dominican Liberation Party will never clip the wings of those who are growing, because the party wants its leaders to fly, "and to fly high," he said, reiterating that the PLD is the Party of opportunities. He also revealed that this political organization will soon "have a rider" to be chosen as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic.
