Spanish Technician to Give International Clinic for Basketball Coaches

SANTO DOMINGO, RD - The Dominican College of Basketball Coaches (Codebal) continues, as every year, with its preparation and training stage for Dominican technicians with the mounting of the International Recertification and Update Clinic. López established that this year's clinic will begin this Wednesday, at 8:00 in the morning and until 5:00 in the afternoon, in the Paraninfo of the Faculty of Economics of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), for coaches of categories C and D of the Metropolitan Zone (National District and Santo Domingo Province), and San Cristóbal. He stated that they will continue on Saturday 24th of this month, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in the Tropez hall, of the Embassy Hotel in Santo Domingo, for national coaches categories A and B, from all over the country. Likewise, they will continue on Sunday 25th, at the same time, with the coaches of categories C and D of the Eastern Region, in the Auditorium of UASD, Hato Mayor del Rey. López said that the last day will be on Monday the 26th, for the coaches of categories C and D from all over the North Region, in the Auditorium of the Santiago City Hall. The 2026 International Recertification and Update Clinic is endorsed by the Dominican Basketball Federation (Fedombal), chaired by Rafael Uribe, and is sponsored and supported by the Ministry of Sports and the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), headed by Kelvin Cruz and Alberto Rodríguez, respectively. As well as, BanReservas, the Adidas sports brand, the company Opal Jeans and the Municipal Mayor's Office of Santiago. This activity is part of the technical training process, which takes place between the months of January and February, among the actors of national basketball, coaches and referees, which is promoted each year by Fedombal, by order of the president Rafael Uribe.
