La Romana, R.D.- Members of the Eastern Regional Intelligence Sub-Directorate (DINTEL), along with units of the Preventive Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, seized 7,710 grams of a plant presumably marijuana, as well as objects used for drug sales, during a raid carried out in the municipality of Villa Hermosa, La Romana province. In the action, a man was arrested and another managed to escape.
The detainee is Jesús Rafael Paulino Johnson, 20 years old, who was arrested in a house in the La Leña sector, by means of search warrant No. 2025-AJ0056453, in the presence of the acting prosecutor.

In the residence's record, 1,272 portions of a presumed marijuana vegetable were seized, weighing approximately 10 pounds (4,535 grams), a package of the same substance weighing 7 pounds (3,175 grams), a grinder, a digital scale, scissors, a knife, and black tape, as well as two cell phones.
According to the report, upon noticing the police presence, the detainee attempted to escape along with another individual identified only as “Olvi” or “Olvi the Great”, who managed to flee and remains at large.
The arrested person, the narcotic substances, and the evidence were remitted to the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) for the corresponding legal purposes.
