Puerto Plata.- The collegiate court of Puerto Plata retired to deliberate until next Thursday at 3:00 in the afternoon, when it is expected to issue its decision on the case involving the baseball player Wander Franco.
The measure was taken after the conclusion of the evidence presentation phases and the exposition of conclusions by the parties involved in the process.

The court is presided over by Judge Jacayra Veras, who, upon announcing the pause, explained that, although a sentence is usually handed down immediately after the conclusions, on this occasion more time will be required due to the amount of evidence that must be examined. Although the case was not declared complex, the judge indicated that the extensive debates and interrogations presented justify a detailed analysis before issuing a ruling.
