“These works are part of our commitment to the orderly development of infrastructure and the continuous improvement in the quality of service we provide to our visitors and passengers,” said Alberto Smith, Landside operations director of Punta Cana Airport (PUJ).

The expansion includes a series of temporary adjustments to the access roads and parking areas used by the different transport sectors, including tour operators, taxis, and other entities that provide services at the airport.

As part of the changes in the waiting areas for buses and tour operators, areas will be enabled behind the Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village hotel and in front of ILUMEL as temporary waiting zones for buses and other operators.

For its part, the entrance and exit of the current parking B will be maintained as the official pick-up point for passengers. In addition, an area near the Specialized Body of Security in Civil Aviation (CESAC) building will be enabled, intended for short-term parking for light vehicles authorized by the airport administration.

“We appreciate the collaboration of users by respecting the designated lanes and following the instructions of the assigned traffic personnel to facilitate traffic flow,” Smith pointed out.
