The AES Foundation concluded a new cycle of the Women Super Entrepreneurs project, through a graduation activity that brought together 152 participants, who completed a training process aimed at strengthening their productive and business capacities.
The initiative, developed in partnership with the Supérate Program, is implemented nationwide and has impacted 932 women in more than 30 communities across the country, including Boca Chica, Matanzas, and Montecristi. The program promotes the economic autonomy and sustainability of micro-enterprises led by women, through training adapted to contexts of vulnerability.
During the process, the participants received training in entrepreneurship, financial education, digital marketing, customer service, and brand registration, among other strategic content for the management of their businesses. The modules were conceived with a practical and contextualized approach, aimed at strengthening productive capacities with a direct impact on the family environment.
Likewise, representatives of the allied entities highlighted that this initiative contributes to access to economic opportunities, to the strengthening of productive capacities and to the articulation of support networks among women entrepreneurs, with positive effects on local development and the reduction of gender gaps.
The closing of this training cycle marks a tangible step towards new opportunities, reaffirming the commitment of the AES Foundation and the Supérate Program with sustainable and inclusive development in the Dominican Republic.
