The information was made public by the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, after a tour of Tireo in Constanza, where he personally assessed the damage caused to the crops in the area.
Cruz listened to the affected producers who expressed their situation, and assured that the helping hand of the government will arrive with the aid, as has always been done when an atmospheric phenomenon occurs.
In that sense, as a provisional measure, he ordered the transfer of light and heavy equipment to this and other areas of the country, for the rapid intervention of bridges and streams.
He stated that once weather conditions allow it, the necessary measures, both material and technical, will be taken to ensure the full recovery of agriculture.
In the raising, Minister Cruz was accompanied by representatives of agricultural producers' associations from Tireo and other productive locations in Constanza.
The heavy rains, accompanied by strong winds, overflowing rivers and streams, affected agriculture in different sectors in various areas throughout the country.
