FESTITURICARNAVAL concerts continue throughout the country

Santo Domingo.-The rumba of joy of FESTITURICARNAVAL continues to tour the country with a parade of great stars of Dominican music. This weekend the party will arrive in Dajabón, Mao Valverde, Pedro Sanatan and the traditional Carnavarengue of Río San Juan, bringing music, culture and fun for the whole family. In the live scenarios will be recognized artists such as Wason Brazobán, Sergio Vargas, Fefita la Grande, Jandy Ventura, Crazy Design, Luis Mugel del Amargue, El Poeta Callejero, Kiko el Presidente, Ashley, Julián Oro Duro, in addition to the animators Michael Miguel Holguín, Aquiles Correa and Julio Clemente. The event is supported by President Luis Abinader, who, since the beginning of his administration, has promoted folk and musical culture as a fundamental platform to preserve Dominican identity and keep its protagonists relevant. Also, important institutions and companies support this cultural celebration, including the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, Cerveza Presidente, Banreservas, Wind Telecom, RD Vial and AYB Electromuebles, along with various government entities and private sector companies committed to the cultural development of the country.

The traditional comparsas, the organized carnival groups, the individual characters and the characteristic music of the season fill each city with color and enthusiasm. In addition, the prizes awarded in each parade motivate the participants to present increasingly creative and spectacular proposals. Over the past 35 years, the Dominican carnival has established itself as a powerful cultural and tourist industry, promoting popular understanding, strengthening national identity, and contributing significantly to the economic growth of communities. Every year the carnivals become more creative, luxurious and surprising, where the talent of the actors of this folkloric expression shines to offer a magical and vibrant spectacle. National music contributes its contagious rhythm, street swing and the romanticism of the artists that the public wants to see. This Sunday 22nd the show will reach three important destinations in the country: In Mao, the city of the most beautiful sunsets, Sergio Vargas, Fefita la Grande, Crazy Design and Ashley will perform. On the same Sunday in Dajabón, known as the place where the homeland begins, Jandy Ventura, El Poeta Callejero and Kiko el Presidente will perform. Also that day, the magical tourist city of Río San Juan, in the amphitheater of Laguna Gri-Grí, the public will enjoy a historic concert with the idol Wason Brazobán and Julián Oro Duro.

Pedro Santana, that Sunday, will also enjoy the concerts of the FESTITURICARNAVAL platform with the artistic performance of Luis Miguel del Amargue. The carnival parades will begin at 3:00 in the afternoon, while the concerts will start from 6:00 in the afternoon, promising days full of culture, music and joy for the whole family.
